That was a lot of fun. Great idea!

(1 edit)

It took me too long on some of the early levels to fully understand how the hit detection worked (For a while I thought boxes were objects and not background). The speed of extensions/retractions also needs to be tweaked. Died on several attempts because I was placed too close to the first obstacle when restarting the level.

Still giving it 5's across the board. The idea is solid, level designs are great. Would love to give a post-game jam version a try.

That was a blast. Really satisfying figuring out those levels. It sucks that the tutorial didn't have proper dev time because trying to understand the rules took a few attempts. Once I got over that though I loved it.

My advise for level 5: Think of the switch board as an "action economy" and try to figure out what piece will take the biggest set of moves.

That color palette was really rough on the eyes.

I pressed every button on my keyboard and mouse but I couldn't attack. Is this a party game? My opponent didn't move at all.

I agree with the comments that some minor tweaking to hitboxes could be made but otherwise that was a lot of fun. Feels a game that I could find at an arcade.

Felt like the puzzles were a bit too easy, maybe a break apart mechanic would have allowed for more challenging puzzles. Feedback aside it was a fun, cute game and I enjoyed playing it. Thanks!

Inspired idea. Some tutorial text would have been nice but as soon as I realized you could jump off your own guys I had a blast. Would love to see this developed further.

I think this idea works better as a platformer than a hack and slash. Your shadow can make combat trivial but the platforming sections were a lot of fun.

Best game I've played so far. Great art.

Movement feels frustrating which helps sell the theme but hurts the gameplay. I didn't feel like I was mastering the game. It felt like I was brute forcing my way though.

It looks like there is only one level. If my guy on the upper level gets killed the camera gets stuck. The game does not reset if both characters die.  The "A" and "D" key work but not "W" to jump. Arrow keys work just fine. The physics feel tight and responsive.

I cannot get the game to launch properly on my browser. I tried with Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
